Short Service Commission Officer & Lieutenant

This role is ideally suited for unmarried female engineering graduates (BE/B.Tech) seeking a challenging and prestigious career as an officer in the Indian Army. Candidates must be between 20-27 years old, physically fit, and possess strong academic records in one of the notified engineering streams. The opportunity is also extended to widows of Indian Armed Forces Defence Personnel, including those with non-technical graduation, up to 35 years of age. Ideal applicants are committed to a minimum of 10 years of service, with a clear potential for permanent commission, and are ready for service across India and potentially abroad.

Individuals who are married or unwilling to commit to the stringent physical and mental demands of military training should not apply. Candidates whose final year engineering results will be declared after 01 April 2027 are not eligible. Those seeking short-term employment or frequent career changes will find the minimum 10-year service liability a significant dealbreaker. Any discrepancies in personal details or academic documents will result in immediate cancellation of candidature.
