South Central Railway Apprenticeship Recruitment 2026: 2801 Act Apprentices

Selected candidates will receive a stipend during the apprenticeship period, as per the prevailing rates and extant instructions of the Central Apprenticeship Council.

Applicants must follow these steps to submit their online application:

1. Visit the official South Central Railway (SCR) website at www.scr.indianrailways.gov.in.
2. Click on the dedicated link for “ONLINE ACT APPRENTICE APPLICATION”.
3. Carefully read all instructions, download the detailed notification, and then click the registration link.
4. Select your state and district, upload the corresponding address proof, and create a valid mobile number and e-mail ID, along with a password for future logins. OTPs will be sent for verification.
5. After OTP submission, proceed to the application page to enter all personal details, including community, date of birth, candidate’s name, father’s name, and educational/technical qualifications.
6. Choose your priority/preference for the Railway Establishments of South Central Railway for training. Note that options selected are final.
7. Upload a recent color photograph (max 1 MB, JPEG, 100 DPI, not older than three months, clear front view without cap/sunglasses). Candidates are advised to keep three copies of the same photo for future use with the e-Call Letter and 10 additional copies.
8. Upload a specimen signature (max 1 MB).
9. Upload the required educational certificates and the RDAT registration form (max 2 MB, PDF).
10. Mandatory RDAT Registration: Candidates must also complete their registration on the official website of the National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme (NAPS) under the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (www.apprenticeshipindia.gov.in). Navigate to the Apprenticeship Home page, click 'Register' (top right corner), then 'Candidate Registration' to fill personal details and submit the form to generate a Registration Number. This number must be furnished during the SCR application.
11. After uploading all necessary documents and verifying details, click 'Preview' and then 'Submit' for final submission.
12. If applicable, candidates will be directed to the payment gateway to pay the application fee.
13. Download or print the submitted application form for future reference.

A non-refundable application fee of ₹100 (Rupees One Hundred only) is required. Any transaction charges for online payment must be borne by the candidate.

Exemptions: No fee is required from SC/ST candidates, female/Transgender candidates of all communities, and Persons with Benchmark Disability (PwBD) candidates.
