Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

  • Master's Degree: Candidates must hold an M.Sc. in Agronomy with a minimum of 55% marks (or an equivalent grade) from an accredited Indian or Foreign University.
  • National Eligibility Test (NET): Candidates must have cleared the ICAR-National Eligibility Test (NET)/SLET or an equivalent NET.
  • Ph.D. Exemption: Candidates with a Ph.D. are exempt from the NET/SLET requirement.
  • Preference: Candidates possessing a Ph.D. /NET/SLET along with teaching experience will be given preference.
  • Documentation: Applicants must bring their original academic documents for verification on the interview date.

Salary & Pay Scale

The remuneration is a consolidated salary of Rs. 1,000/- per class, with a maximum monthly payment of Rs. 40,000/-.

How to Apply

Interested and eligible candidates are required to appear for a walk-in interview on August 25, 2026, at 10:30 am in the Chamber of the Dean, Faculty of Agricultural Sciences, Rajiv Gandhi University.

Candidates must bring their bio-data detailing qualifications, experience, and specialization, along with original copies of all supporting documents. No Travel Allowance (TA) or Daily Allowance (DA) will be paid for attending the interview.
