Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- For Junior Research Fellow (JRF): Candidates must possess an M.E./M.Tech degree with First Class and must have qualified the CSIR-UGC NET or GATE examination. Enrollment for a Ph.D. is mandatory for upgradation to SRF after two years.
- For Project Associate-I: Candidates with an M.E./M.Tech degree with First Class who have not qualified GATE/NET are eligible.
Salary & Pay Scale
- Junior Research Fellow (JRF): Rs. 37,000 per month + HRA for the first two years. May be upgraded to Senior Research Fellow (SRF) as per rules.
- Project Associate-I: Rs. 30,000 per month + HRA.
