Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- Essential Qualification (Research Assistant & Field Investigator): Post Graduate in Commerce/Economics/Management with minimum 55% marks from a UGC recognized University or Institute.
- Desirable (Research Assistant only):
- UGC NET/CSIR NET or SET in the concerned discipline.
- Adequate knowledge of the English Language and handling socio-economic Data Analysis software.

How to Apply
- Interested candidates are requested to send the duly completed prescribed application form along with detailed information about their education qualifications, research experience, publications (if any), and copies of all supporting documents.
- Applications must be sent to “Office of the Registrar, University of Gour Banga, P.O.: Mokdumpur, Dist. MALDA, West Bengal –732103, India” by 05.12.2025.
- A soft copy of the application must also be emailed to Dr. Bhaskar Bagchi, Project Director ([email protected]) on or before 05.12.2025.
- Selected candidates will be interviewed on 10.12.2025 at 12:00 noon at the Office of the Dean, Faculty Council for PG Studies in Humanities, Social Science and Commerce, University of GourBanga, Malda, West Bengal, 732103.
- Candidates must carry their complete CV along with all academic original testimonials and one set of self-attested photocopies of all relevant documents during the interview.
- Four passport-size photographs are also required at the time of interview.
