Candidates must apply online through the official website of the Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB). The necessary instructions regarding filling out online applications will be made available separately on the Board's website. Key instructions include:

• Applicants are advised to fill all fields of the online application form with due diligence and review thoroughly before submission, as no changes will be entertained later.
• Candidates should submit their applications well before the closing date (25.08.2026) to avoid potential issues due to heavy website load.
• Required documents to upload include a live photograph (10 KB to 20 KB), signature (10 KB to 20 KB), category certificate (Max 100 KB in PDF), and self-attested qualifications/experience certificates (Max 100 KB in PDF).
• Candidates seeking reservation benefits must possess a valid Category Certificate as on the cut-off date and upload it during online application.
• In-service candidates must submit a printout of their filled online application form along with a duly signed and stamped Certificate through the proper channel (concerned Head of Department/Designated Authority) to the Office of the Secretary, Services Selection Board by the last date of Document Verification.
• Only one online application for the post of the same item number is permitted. If multiple applications are detected, the latest valid application will be considered.

Candidature will be accepted provisionally and is subject to verification of eligibility, educational qualifications, age, and reserved category certificates at the Document Verification stage. Candidates must satisfy themselves that they are eligible for the post.

Fee Payable:

• General Candidates: Rs. 700/-
• SC, ST-1, ST-2, EWS Candidates: Rs. 600/-

Fees must be paid only through online mode viz., Net Banking, Credit, or Debit cards. Applications received without the prescribed fee will be summarily rejected. Fees once paid are non-refundable and non-adjustable.
