This role is ideal for accomplished Ph.D. holders with a strong academic background, particularly those with a first-class record in preceding degrees. Candidates specializing in Computer Science & Engineering, Engineering Sciences, Information Technology, or Management Studies, especially with research contributions (e.g., SCI publications) and a preference for graduates from premier institutions (IISc/IITs/IIITs/NITs/IIMs/ISI/IISERs), are highly suitable. Early career researchers under 35 with exceptional research potential are also encouraged to apply.

Candidates who do not possess a Ph.D. or lack a first-class equivalent academic record should not apply. Those above 35 years without an exceptionally brilliant research career or externally funded projects will find it challenging. Applicants who have received their highest degree (Ph.D.) from ABV-IIITM Gwalior within the last three years are ineligible due to the institute's inbreeding policy.
