Academic Resource Person

This role is most suitable for experienced primary or upper primary teachers currently serving in council schools within Mirzapur district. Ideal candidates should possess a graduation degree with a teacher training qualification, a minimum of 5 years of teaching experience, and at least 5 years remaining until their retirement. Candidates must be free from any ongoing disciplinary actions or past misconduct, and eager to contribute to academic development under the Samagra Shiksha Abhiyan.

Candidates without the stipulated minimum 5 years of teaching experience in council schools in Mirzapur, those not currently serving as teachers, or individuals with less than 5 years remaining until retirement should not apply. Applicants with any pending disciplinary action or a history of proven misconduct are ineligible. This role does not offer a new pay scale or salary increment.

This position offers a valuable opportunity for existing teachers to take on an additional responsibility as an Academic Resource Person on a contractual basis (initially for one year, renewable up to three years). While it provides a platform to contribute to academic quality enhancement at the block level under a state-run program, it is primarily a deputation role without a new pay scale or direct career progression in terms of grade. It is ideal for those seeking to leverage their teaching expertise in a resource and support capacity within the government education system.
