Best-Fit Profile
This role is ideally suited for candidates holding a Graduate degree with 3 years of relevant post-qualification experience, or a Master's degree in Life Sciences/Biotechnology. Individuals interested in short-term (project-based), contractual research positions within a prestigious medical institution, particularly those with a focus on preclinical evaluation related to pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma, will find this opportunity suitable. It offers valuable experience in a government-affiliated research environment.
Important Considerations
Candidates seeking permanent government employment, extensive benefits typically associated with regular government positions (e.g., Provident Fund, Pension Scheme, Medical Claim), or those without the specified educational qualifications and experience should not apply. The role is project-specific and temporary, which may not align with long-term career stability goals for all applicants. Those above 35 years of age without applicable relaxations are also ineligible.
Career Impact
AIIMS Bhubaneswar is a highly reputed All India Institute of Medical Sciences, offering significant institutional prestige and exposure within the medical research field. While the position itself is contractual and tied to a specific project, it provides an excellent platform for gaining experience in cutting-edge research under expert guidance. This experience can be highly beneficial for future academic or research career advancements, despite the limited long-term growth directly within this particular role. It enhances one's professional profile within a prestigious government healthcare and research framework.
