The Multidisciplinary Research Unit (MRU) at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Rishikesh is a research initiative funded by the Department of Health Research (DHR), Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India. It aims to promote interdisciplinary and biomedical research in the region.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

MD/DNB: Post graduate degree in Pathology/Biochemistry/Microbiology with 5 years R&D experience in Pathology Genetics or biomedical subjects (MD/DNB in relevant subjects treated equivalent to 3 years experience).
MBBS: Recognized by MCI with a minimum of 10 years R&D experience in Genetics or biomedical subjects.
Ph.D.: In Life Sciences/Biochemistry/Microbiology/Biotechnology with 5 years R&D experience in the related subject post-Ph.D. (Ph.D. in relevant subjects treated equivalent to 3 years experience).
Master's Degree: First-class Master's in Biochemistry/Microbiology/Biotechnology with 8 years R&D experience in Genetics or biomedical subjects.
Additional Requirements: Thorough knowledge of Medical statistics, Computer Applications/Data Management, data analysis, and interpretation of results of statistical analysis.

Age Limit Details

The upper age limit is 45 years as on 01.05.2024. Relaxation of 5 years is admissible for SC/ST candidates.

Salary & Pay Scale

Consolidated pay of Rs. 67,000 + HRA per month. There is a provision for an increment of 5% after 2 years of service as per DHR rules.
