Armed Forces Tribunal, Regional Bench, Guwahati Invites Applications for Various Deputation/Absorption Posts (Total 14 Vacancies) 2026

• Principal Private Secretary (PPS): Stenographers in Central/State Government or Supreme Court/High Courts or District Courts or Statutory/Autonomous bodies holding an analogous post on regular basis, OR with six years regular service in Level-8, OR seven years regular service in Level-7 of the Pay Matrix. Desirable: Knowledge in computer operation.
• Tribunal Officer/Section Officer (SO/TO): Persons holding an analogous post on regular basis, OR a post in Level-5 with five years regular service; AND possessing a Degree from a recognized University with two years experience in personnel, administrative or judicial work. Desirable: Degree in Law.
• Assistant: Officers holding an analogous post on regular basis, OR Upper Division Clerk in Level-4 with 10 years regular service; AND possessing a Degree from a recognized University with two years experience in establishment, administration or Accounts.
• Tribunal Master/Steno Gd-I: Stenographers in Central/State Government or Armed Forces or Supreme Court/High Court/District Courts or Statutory/Autonomous bodies holding an analogous post on regular basis, OR a post in Level-4 with 10 years regular service.
• Junior Accounts Officer: Officers under Central Government holding an analogous post on regular basis, OR with six years service in Level-5; AND who have undergone training in cash and accounts work from a recognized institute and have two years experience of cash accounts and budget work.
• Junior Accountant: Officials under Central/State Government or Tribunals/Commissions/Statutory Bodies or Courts holding an analogous post on regular basis, OR five years regular service in Level-4; AND possessing a Bachelor's Degree from a recognized University.
• Stenographer Gd-II: Officers holding analogous posts on regular basis, possessing a 12th class pass or equivalent from a recognized Board/University; Skill Test Norms on Computer (Dictation: 10 mins @ 80 wpm, Transcription: 50 mins English/65 mins Hindi); and Computer Training course of at least six months duration.
• UDC: Officials from Central/State Government or Tribunals/Commissions/Statutory bodies or Courts holding an analogous post on regular basis, OR holding a post in Pay Band-1 (Rs. 5200-20200 + GP Rs. 1900) with 8 years regular service.
• LDC: Officers holding analogous posts on regular basis, possessing a 12th class pass or equivalent; a typing speed of 35 wpm in English or 30 wpm in Hindi on computer; and a computer training course of at least six months duration. Desirable: Graduate from a recognised university.
• Data Entry Operator: Officers holding analogous posts on regular basis, OR holding posts in Pay Band-I (Rs. 5200-20200 + GP Rs. 1900) with two years regular service; possessing a 12th class pass or equivalent; Diploma or Certificate in Information Technology or computer field; and knowledge of data entry or computer operation with a speed of not less than 8000 key depressions per hour. Desirable: Graduate from a recognised university.
• Staff Car Driver: On the results of a driving test; persons holding analogous posts of staff car drivers OR Regular Despatch Rider (Group 'C') in Pay Band-I (Rs. 5200-20200 + GP Rs. 1900) OR Regular Group 'C' employees in Pay Band-I (Rs. 5200-20200 + GP Rs. 1800) with three years experience in Central/State Government/Tribunals/Commissions/Statutory Bodies. Essential: 10th standard pass, experience of driving a motorcar for at least three years, valid driving licence for motorcars, knowledge of motor mechanism.
• Library Attendant: Group 'C' staff in Pay Band-I (Rs 5200-20200 + GP Rs. 1800) with one year regular service in Central/State Government/Armed Forces/Tribunals/Commissions/Statutory bodies/Courts/Armed Forces Tribunal, possessing a 10th standard pass or equivalent; and experience of working at least one year in a recognized/registered Library.
• Despatch Rider: On the results of a driving test; persons holding analogous posts OR Group 'C' employees in Pay Band-I (Rs.5200-20200 + GP Rs.1800) with three years experience of driving. Essential: 10th standard pass, ability to read English and Hindi or Regional language, valid driving licence for motor cycle/scooter/auto rickshaw and experience of driving such vehicle for at least three years, knowledge of motor mechanism.
• MTS/Peon: Persons holding analogous post in Central/State Government or Tribunals/Commissions/Statutory Bodies or Courts, possessing a 10th standard pass or equivalent.

The maximum age limit for appointment by deputation shall not exceed 56 years with a residual service of four years on the closing date of receipt (30-04-2026).
