This recruitment is for a Department of Biotechnology (DBT), Government of India funded project titled "Promoting Chickpea Cultivation in Rice Fallows of the North Eastern Region of India through the Development of New Varieties using Molecular Breeding and Genome Editing". The project is a collaborative effort between IARI, PAU, ICRISAT, AAU Jorhat, and AAU-ZRS Shillongoni.

Educational Qualification

Project Associate-I (Position 1): M.Sc (Agri) in Agricultural Biotechnology/ M.Sc Life Sciences. Candidates with NET/GATE or selection through a National level examination are preferred.
Project Scientist-I (Position 2): Doctoral Degree in Agricultural Biotechnology/ Life Sciences.
Project Associate-I (Position 3): M.Sc (Agri) in Plant Breeding/ Biotechnology/ Agronomy. Candidates with NET/GATE or selection through a National level examination are preferred.
