For PGT Posts:
- Option 1: Integrated Post Graduate Course from an NCTE recognized institution with at least 50% marks in aggregate, including a B.Ed. component.
- Option 2: Master's Degree from a recognized institution with at least 50% marks in the concerned subject, AND a B.Ed. Degree from an NCTE recognized institution with at least 50% marks.
- Option 3: Three-year integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed. from an NCTE recognized institution with at least 50% marks.
- Option 4: Four-year integrated degree with at least 50% marks from an NCTE recognized institution, including a B.Ed. component.
- Subject-specific Master's degree requirements apply (e.g., PGT Hindi requires Master's in Hindi, PGT Physics in Physics/specialization, etc.).
- Option 1: Four-year integrated degree course from an NCTE recognized institution with at least 50% marks in the concerned subject(s) as well as in aggregate, including a B.Ed. component.
- Option 2: Bachelor's/Honours Degree from a recognized institution with at least 50% marks in the concerned subject/combination of subjects as well as in aggregate, AND a B.Ed. Degree from an NCTE recognized institution with at least 50% marks, OR three-year integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed from an NCTE recognized institution with at least 50% marks, OR one-year B.Ed. (Special Education) from an RCI recognized Institution with at least 50% marks.
- Option 3: Post Graduation in the concerned subject / any specialization with a minimum 55% marks or equivalent grade, provided the candidate has studied the subject(s) at the graduation level, AND three years integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed from an NCTE recognized institution with at least 50% marks.
- Must be qualified in the Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (UPTET) Paper-II or Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) Paper-II conducted by the Government of India.
- Must have competence to teach through English & Hindi media.
- Specific subject combinations are required for TGT (Maths, Science, Social Studies).
