Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
Age Limit Details
Candidates must be not less than 18 years and not more than 38 years as on 01/01/2025 for both Clerk and Cook posts. SC, ST & OBC candidates of West Bengal shall receive age relaxation as per State Government norms.
Salary & Pay Scale
Engaged candidates shall receive a consolidated remuneration. For Clerk, it is Rs. 18,000/- per month, and for Cook, it is Rs. 12,000/- per month. No other allowance in the form of relief will be given. A festival bonus shall be provided at the rate given to a regular Government employee as per applicable Government Rules.

- Interested candidates must apply in the prescribed format attached with the official notice.
- The completed application form, along with all supporting documents (self-attested photocopies), must be enclosed in a sealed envelope.
- The envelope must be superscribed with the name of the post applied for in bold letters.
- Applications must reach the office of the Project Officer cum District Welfare Officer, Backward Classes Welfare & Tribal Development Department, Shivaji Road, Hakimpara, Po+Dist. Jalpaiguri, Pin- 735101 by 25/11/2025 (4:00 PM).
- Applications can be submitted through speed post, registered post, or by hand.
- No applications through e-mail or any other electronic means will be accepted.
- Documents to be attached (self-attested photocopies):
- Age Proof: Birth Certificate or Admit Card of 10th Standard Board Examination.
- Identity Proof: EPIC/AADHAAR Card/Driving License / PAN Card/ Bank Passbook.
- Academic Qualification: Mark Sheet/ Certificates of all educational qualifications.
- Experience Certificates (if any).
- Candidates must produce all original documents for verification before the interview.
