BARC DDFS 2026: DAE Doctoral Fellowship Scheme for Engineering Post-Graduates

Selected candidates will receive a fellowship and other allowances as part of the DDFS PhD Programme:

• Fellowship Amount: Rs. 80,000/- per month.
• Annual Contingency Grant: Rs. 60,000/- to cover PhD-related expenses.
• Duration: The fellowship is initially for four years, extendable by one more year based on satisfactory performance. The total fellowship period will not exceed five years.
• Other Benefits: Medical benefits under the Contributory Health Services (CHS) scheme are available.
• Accommodation: Hostel accommodation is mandatory during the PhD programme.

Candidates must apply online by following the steps below:

1. Visit the official application portal at https://www.barcocesexam.in.
2. Register using the "Click here for New Registration" link, providing essential details like name, email, and mobile number.
3. Verify your mobile number via OTP and your email ID via a verification link.
4. Log in with the credentials received and fill in the application form with personal, academic, and other required information.
5. Upload a recent passport-sized photograph, signature, and mark sheets of the qualifying degree in the specified format and size.
6. Choose three preferences for the online screening examination city.
7. Pay the application fee online (if applicable) through the provided payment gateway using net banking, debit card, or credit card.
8. Review the application carefully before final submission, as no modifications are allowed afterward.
9. Upon successful submission and payment, a unique registration number will be generated for future reference.

The application fee structure is as follows:

• General/OBC (Male applicants): ₹ 500/- + applicable bank charges.
• Exempted Categories: No application fee for Women candidates, SC/ST candidates, Transgender candidates, and Physically Challenged candidates with a disability of 40% or more.
