• Educational Qualification: Master's degree in Microbiology / allied biological sciences with at least 55% marks (or 50% for OBC-NCL/SC/ST/PwBD) from a recognized Indian University.
• National Eligibility: Must have cleared CSIR-UGC NET in Life Sciences OR hold a Ph.D. Degree in Microbiology in compliance with UGC (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of M.Phil/Ph.D. Degree) Regulations.
• DU Ad-hoc / Guest Panel: Candidates should ideally be empaneled in the Department of Microbiology, University of Delhi ad-hoc panel.
• Superannuated Teachers: Retired faculty members may also appear, subject to a maximum age limit of 70 Years.
• Exclusivity: Appointees should not hold any other concurrent teaching assignment.
