Educational Qualification

• Educational Qualification: MBBS with MD / MS / DNB / DM / M.Ch in the respective specialty as per NMC Teacher Eligibility Qualifications (TEQ) regulations.
• Teaching Experience: Relevant post-PG teaching experience as Assistant Professor / Associate Professor for faculty roles, or PG medical degree/diploma for Senior Residents.
• Registration: Valid and updated Medical Council (State / NMC) registration certificate.
• Age Limit (as on 15.09.2026): Not exceeding 69 years for Teaching Faculty (Professor, Associate Professor, Assistant Professor); not exceeding 45 years for Senior Residents.
• Tenure: 1 year on contract basis, extendable up to 3 years.

Age Limit & Relaxations

Upper age limit as on the 15th of the month:
• Teaching Faculty (Professor, Associate Professor, Assistant Professor): Not exceeding 69 years (maximum tenure up to 70 years)
• Senior Resident: Not exceeding 45 years.
Age relaxation admissible for SC/ST (5 years), OBC (3 years), and PwD candidates as per Government of India norms.

Appointees at ESIC Medical College & Hospital, Indore serve as teaching faculty and resident medical officers in a high-volume central government tertiary care facility in Nanda Nagar, Indore. Faculty members conduct MBBS undergraduate teaching under the NMC CBME curriculum, supervise clinical wards, perform specialty surgeries, manage outpatient departments (OPD), and direct emergency services for insured industrial workers and their dependents. Private practice is strictly prohibited. The working hours are demanding but offer excellent academic and clinical exposure.
