The Department of Anaesthesia, Critical Care & Pain at Tata Memorial Centre (TMC-ACTREC) in Kharghar, Navi Mumbai is an apex national tertiary oncology care unit under the Department of Atomic Energy (DAE). Consultants manage high-complexity onco-surgical anaesthesia (major head and neck resections with microvascular free flap reconstructions, thoracic onco-surgeries, complex gastrointestinal oncology, pediatric onco-surgeries, and neuro-oncology), invasive hemodynamic monitoring, perioperative oncological critical care in intensive care units (ICU), acute postoperative analgesia, and specialized chronic cancer pain interventions. The department provides advanced academic exposure, multidisciplinary oncology tumor board interactions, and clinical research opportunities.
