Educational Qualification

  • For Faculty (Professor, Associate Professor) & Senior Residents: Educational qualifications must adhere to NMC Norms published in the Gazette of India dated 30.06.2025 and 04.07.2025.
  • Candidates are required to possess M.B.B.S Certificate, a Post Graduate Certificate, and a Super Specialty qualification in the respective specialty.
  • Registration with Karnataka State Medical Council (KMC)/NMC or Medical Council of India (MCI) is mandatory.

Age Limit & Relaxations

Age relaxations for all categories are included within the specified upper age limits. Candidates must meet the age criteria as of the interview date.

Selected candidates shall be appointed purely on a contractual basis for one year, which may be extended for another one/two years on satisfactory performance subjected to approval of the Competent Authority. The contractual engagement can be terminated by either side with one month's notice. The appointment is subject to satisfactory annual appraisal and medical fitness.

Application Procedure

Candidates interested in applying must participate in a Walk-in-Interview. The process is as follows:

  • Registration: Candidates can walk-in and register for the interview from 09:00 AM to 10:30 AM on September 16, 2026. No candidates will be entertained after 10:30 AM.
  • Application Form: The application form is enclosed with the advertisement. Candidates must fill out this form before the registration process.
  • Document Verification: On the day of the Walk-in-Interview (September 16, 2026), candidates must produce all original documents and their self-attested photocopies (1 set), along with 2 passport-size photographs.
  • Certificates for Reservation: Relevant certificates issued by the competent authority in the prescribed Government of India format must be presented for consideration of reservation.
  • Interview: The personal interview will be conducted on September 17, 2026, from 9:00 AM onwards.
  • Venue: The interview shall be conducted at the Office of the Dean, ESIC Medical College, Kalaburagi.
  • "No photocopies will be arranged/ provided by the office under any circumstances.”

Documents required at the time of Interview:

  • SSC/10th Standard Certificate (proof of age)
  • M.B.B.S Certificate
  • Post graduate Certificate
  • Super specialty qualification in the respective specialty
  • Registration with Karnataka State Medical Council (KMC)/NMC
  • Caste Certificate (if applicable)
  • Experience Certificate
  • Relieving Certificate from Previous institution
  • Proof of ID (Aadhar Card and PAN Card)
  • 02 passport size photographs
  • Other documents /Publications as per NMC criteria for faculty appointment.

Application Fee & Category Concessions

Application fees are as follows:

  • SC/ST/Female candidates: Nil
  • All other categories: Rs. 300/-

Payment must be made via a Demand Draft of Rs. 300/- (for applicable categories) in favour of 'ESI Corporation' payable at 'Kalaburagi'. The Demand Draft must be issued after the advertisement date and submitted along with the application form at the time of the Walk-in-Interview. Application fee is non-refundable.
