| Assistant Engineer (Mechanical) (Group-B) | Should possess a Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Technology or equivalent qualification from a recognized University of the Union or State Government and shall be a Computer literate through passing minimum of Six months duration course in Computer basics. |

| Meter Reader (Group-C) | A pass in PUC and passing minimum of six months duration course in Computer basics. |
| Second Division Storekeeper (Group-C) | A pass in PUC with certificate course in Material Management of any recognized Institution and one year duration course in Computer basics. |
- Candidates must have scored a minimum of 50% marks in the prescribed qualifying examination for the post.
- For technical posts, if Computer Science was studied as a subject in Engineering/Diploma, it will be considered computer literacy. For non-technical posts, if Computer Science was studied as a subject in PUC or higher, it will be considered computer literacy.
