- M.E./MTech in Chemical/Mechanical/Energy Science/Engineering or equivalent with a minimum of 60% marks in B.E. or BTech in Chemical/Biotechnology/Mechanical/Energy Science Engineering.
- OR a Masters in any basic science discipline with First Class Division.
- Preference: Will be given to students with hands-on experience in performing product characterization and handling reactors.
- Selected JRF candidate will have the opportunity to apply for PhD programme at BITS Pilani, K. K. Birla Goa Campus, subject to their performance.
- Candidates may also get an opportunity to apply for PM fellowship.

The fellowship for Junior Research Fellow (JRF) is Rs. 37,000 per month plus House Rent Allowance (HRA) as per norms.
