- Mandatory: Masters in Veterinary Science.
- Desirable:
- Prior experience in an Animal Biosafety Level 3 (ABSL-3) facility, including work with laboratory animals such as mice, rats and non-human primates, and pathogens within a BSL-3 environment.
- Proficiency in procedures involving the infection of laboratory animals with Risk Group 3 pathogens, conducting drug efficacy studies, performing necropsies and carrying out various clinical assessments.
- Ability to perform all required procedures on animals housed in the ABSL-3 facility.

Salary & Pay Scale
The emoluments for the Veterinarian position will be Rs. 56,000/- per month, in addition to 27% House Rent Allowance (HRA), as per DST OM dated 10.07.2020.
