JNCASR President Recruitment 2026: Apply for President Post

The pay scale for the President position is a fixed amount of Rs. 2,25,000/- as per the 7th CPC. The post is classified as Scientific.

Interested candidates must submit their application using the attached Formats I & II. The completed application, along with supporting documents, should be sent by post to the "Administrative Officer, Jawaharlal Nehru Centre for Advanced Scientific Research, Jakkur, Bengaluru 560064".

• The application cover must be superscribed as "Application for the post of President, Jawaharlal Nehru Centre for Advanced Scientific Research (JNCASR)."
• The deadline for receipt of applications by post is September 30, 2026.
• For candidates from Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Manipur, Nagaland, Tripura, Sikkim, Ladakh (UT), Lahaul and Spiti District and Pangi Sub Division of Chamba District of Himachal Pradesh, Andaman and Nicobar Islands and Lakshadweep, the deadline is October 15, 2026.
• A copy of the application (for both direct applications and nominations) must also be sent via email to [email protected].
• Applicants employed in Government Departments, Autonomous Organizations, or PSUs should forward their applications through proper channel, including No Objection Certificate/Cadre Clearance. An advance copy may be sent to meet the deadline.
• Duly self-attested photocopies of certificates in support of qualifications and experience must be submitted with the application.

In case of nominations, eminent persons can forward the nominee's application/CV with recommendations, consent, and attested copies of Doctorate and Master's degree certificates by post to the Administrative Officer, JNCASR.
