- Deputy Director General (Science): Ph.D. in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Chemical, Computational, Agricultural, Pharmaceutical or Veterinary Sciences with 16 years of post-qualification experience.
- Director (Science): Ph.D. in the aforementioned sciences with 12 years of post-qualification experience.
- Deputy Director (Science): Ph.D. in the aforementioned sciences with 4 years of post-qualification experience.
- Director (Administration/Finance): Post Graduate degree, or Graduate degree with a two-year PG diploma, or CA/ICWA/CMA/CS with a minimum of 15 years' post-qualification supervisory experience.
- Section Officer: Graduate degree, or Graduate degree with a two-year PG diploma in science, finance, or administration with a minimum of 5 years' post-qualification experience.
