Located within the interdisciplinary NCR Biotech Science Cluster in Faridabad, THSTI is dedicated to conducting innovative translational research and fostering collaborations across disciplines to translate scientific concepts into products that improve human health.
THSTI has established robust inter-institutional collaborations with industry, supported by highly trained research and laboratory teams. The institute operates various specialized centers, including those for Maternal and Child Health, Virus Research, Tuberculosis Research, and Drug Discovery, among others. These centers are enhanced by core facilities such as the Bioassay Laboratory, Biorepository, and Biosafety Level-3 Lab, which serve as crucial resources for THSTI's research programs and the broader NCR Biotech Science Cluster. THSTI also focuses on training the next generation of scientific leaders through competitive academic programs that promote research and innovation through multi-disciplinary academia-industry partnerships.
This particular recruitment is for project positions within the Clinical Development Services Agency (CDSA) center, a specialized unit of THSTI. CDSA's mission is to facilitate the development of affordable healthcare products for public health diseases. It serves as the only public center in India mandated to support and nurture cost-effective, high-quality, not-for-profit technology-based preclinical and clinical product development, as well as to support clinical research conducted by public agencies. CDSA aims to foster an ecosystem for training, learning, and collaboration with public sector institutions and small and medium enterprises (SMEs) to translate innovative technologies into medical products for public good.
