Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

Candidates must possess a First Class Degree from a recognized University/Institution in relevant Engineering disciplines (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Naval Architecture, Marine, Automobile, Production, Electronics & Communication) for technical roles. For Human Resources roles, a First Class Bachelor's degree combined with a 2-year full-time MBA (HR/IR), MSW, MA (HR/IR with Social Work), or a Postgraduate Degree/Diploma in Personnel Management and Industrial Relations with specialization in IR/HR is required. A Law Degree is desirable for HR posts.

Specific posts may consider equivalent ranks from the Indian Army or Navy as qualifications (e.g., Brigadier, Colonel, Lieutenant Colonel, Captain, Lieutenant Commander). A Postgraduate Degree/Diploma in Technology/Management or Marine Engineering qualification provides an additional advantage for relevant roles.

Note: A 5% relaxation in qualifying marks is applicable for SC/ST/PwBD candidates. For candidates with CGPA/credit system, conversion to percentage is mandatory.

Age Limit Details

The upper age limit varies by post and is calculated as on 05-06-2024. For Chief General Manager, the maximum age is 58 years. For Deputy General Manager posts, it's 45 years; for Assistant General Manager, 42 years; for Senior Manager, 39 years (with potential relaxation up to 42 years for Navy/Coast Guard candidates). For Assistant Managers, Engineers, Officers, and Junior Executives, the maximum age is 30 years and 27 years respectively.

Age relaxations are applicable as per Government of India guidelines:

  • SC/ST candidates: +5 years
  • OBC candidates: +3 years
  • PwBD candidates: +10 years (in addition to SC/ST/OBC relaxation if applicable, provided minimum 40% disability).

The maximum age with all relaxations will not exceed 57 years (except where specified otherwise).

For Junior Executive - Human Resources (06 posts), consolidated remuneration is:

  • 1st year: ₹28,000/-
  • 2nd year: ₹31,000/-
  • 3rd year: ₹34,000/-
  • 4th year: ₹37,500/-

In addition to basic pay, candidates will be eligible for Variable Dearness Allowance (VDA), perks at 13.78% of basic pay under the Cafeteria system, company accommodation/HRA, Provident Fund, Gratuity, etc. Executives are also eligible for Performance Related Pay (PRP).

Exam Syllabus & Pattern

For the Junior Executive - Human Resources post, selection will be based on a Computer Based Written Test (MCQ type). The syllabus for this test will include sections on Human Resources, General English, Numerical Ability, and Reasoning Ability. The written test will be held in Bengaluru only.

  3. Fill out the online application form ensuring all data entered is accurate.
  4. The online registration portal will be available until June 5, 2024, at 18:00 hrs.
  5. After successful online submission, candidates (except for Junior Executive - HR) must take a printout of the application and send it along with all relevant documents to the following address:

Application Fee

A non-refundable application fee of ₹500/- is applicable for General, EWS, and OBC category candidates. Candidates belonging to SC/ST/PwBD categories are exempted from paying the application fee.
