For Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) positions:
Candidates generally require a 2-year integrated Post Graduate M.Sc/MA course from Regional College of Education of NCERT OR a Master's Degree from a recognized university with at least 50% aggregate marks in the relevant subject. Additionally, a B.Ed. or equivalent degree from a recognized university is mandatory. Proficiency in teaching in the concerned medium/media is required. Knowledge of Computer Application is desirable.
Specific for PGT (Computer):

For Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) positions:
Qualifications vary, but generally include a Graduation degree in the relevant subject combined with a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education OR at least 50% marks in Graduation/Post-Graduation with a B.Ed. Other acceptable qualifications include: Graduation with 45% marks and 1-year B.Ed. (NCTE Reg.), Senior Secondary with 50% marks and a 4-year B.El.Ed. or B.A./B.Sc.Ed., or Post-Graduation with 55% marks and a 3-year integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed. Proficiency in teaching through the required medium/media is essential.
For Physical Instructor:
A Graduate degree with a Bachelor's in Physical Education (B.P.Ed.) or its equivalent. Competency in imparting Physical Education in English/Hindi medium is also required.
