Essential Qualifications:
- Passed Higher Secondary (10+2) with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.
- Must possess a two-year Diploma in Paramedical Ophthalmic Assistants Course OR a two-year Diploma Course in Optometry & Ophthalmic technique, recognized by the Government of West Bengal.
Preferential Criteria:
- One year of training after acquiring a Diploma in Optometry from a recognized Government Hospital or a licensed Clinical Establishment in West Bengal.
- Preference will be given to candidates who have passed from RIO and other Government Hospitals with Government stipends.
