• Candidates who successfully apply will undergo an Objective Type (Multiple Choice Question - MCQ) written examination.
• The merit list will be prepared based on the marks obtained in this written examination.
• There will be negative marking in the examination.
• Each correct answer will carry 1 mark, and 1/4 mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer.
• In case of a tie in merit, the date of birth will be considered (older candidate preferred). If the date of birth is also the same, percentage of marks in the minimum educational qualification will be considered. If still tied, marks in Matriculation will be considered.

• Candidates must apply online through the official website https://sssb.punjab.gov.in by clicking on the “Apply Online” link from 10-07-2026 to 30-07-2026. No other mode of application will be accepted.
• Registration and Login: New users must register by filling in their details to generate a User ID (Email ID) and Password. Existing users can log in with their credentials.
• Filling the Application Form:
  • Fill in personal, academic, and required information accurately.
  • Upload a passport-sized photograph (or use live photo capture) and a scanned copy of signatures. Applications without these will be rejected.
  • After filling details, save as a draft or proceed to the next step.
  • Upload scanned copies of 10th class certificate, educational qualification certificates, and other mandatory documents in PDF format.
  • After uploading documents, click “Save Documents”.
• Fee Payment: Proceed to “Make Payment” and pay the application fee online. The application form will only be considered submitted after successful fee payment.
• Candidates are advised to take a printout of the submitted application form for future reference.
• No modifications will be allowed in the application form after final submission.

Note: The fee once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances.
