CSIR- Advanced Materials and Processes Research Institute Recruitment 2025 – 20 Scientist / Senior Scientist Posts

The essential educational qualifications vary by post. Generally, candidates are required to possess a M.E./M.Tech. in various engineering or science disciplines (e.g., Metallurgy, Materials Science, Mechanical, Computational Science, AI, Data Science, Instrumentation, Electronics, Mechatronics, Design, Thermal, Manufacturing, Production, Civil, Construction, Structural, Environmental, Chemical, Computer Science, Information Technology, Polymer Science & Technology, Mineral, Energy Engineering) or an equivalent degree. Alternatively, a Ph.D. in related science or engineering disciplines (or thesis submitted) is often accepted. For specific Senior Scientist posts (SS-03), a B.Tech./M.Sc. with MBA or a Post Graduate Degree in IP Law is also an essential qualification. The age of the applicant should not be below 18 years as on the last date of submission of the online application. The upper age limit is 32 years for Scientist (Level 11) and 37 years for Senior Scientist (Level 12). Age relaxations are applicable as per Government of India rules:

• SC/ST: 5 years relaxation.
• OBC (NCL): 3 years relaxation.
• PwBD: 10 years relaxation (total 15 years for SC/ST-PwBD, 13 years for OBC-PwBD).
• Widows/Divorced Women/Judicially Separated Women (not remarried): Up to 35 years (40 years for SC/ST, 38 years for OBC) for posts reserved for them.
• Council/Government/Autonomous Bodies/Public Sector Employees: Up to 5 years relaxation under specific conditions.

For exceptionally meritorious candidates, age, educational qualification, and/or experience relaxations may be considered with prior approval of DG, CSIR.
