CSIR-CCMB Recruitment 2026: Apply for 24 Technical Support Staff & Driver Vacancies

For both Technician (1)/Gr. II (1) and Driver posts, the total approximate emoluments at the minimum of the scale, including admissible allowances, are Rs. 39,970/- per month. These posts are classified under Pay Matrix Level-02.

Employees are entitled to usual allowances such as Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), and Transport Allowance (TA), as applicable to Central Government employees and CSIR staff at the place of posting. Accommodation, if available as per CSIR Resident Allotment Rules, will preclude HRA. Additional benefits include:

These benefits are provided as per CSIR/Government of India Rules applicable to Council employees.

1. Online Application: Eligible candidates must apply ONLINE ONLY by visiting the CSIR-CCMB website (https://www.ccmb.res.in).
2. Fee Payment: Pay the non-refundable application fee of Rs. 500/- (if applicable) through State Bank Collect. Exemptions apply for Women, SC/ST, PwBD, and Ex-Servicemen candidates.
3. Application for Multiple Posts: A candidate can apply for multiple postcodes, provided they meet all eligibility criteria for each post. A separate online application and application fee must be submitted for each postcode.
4. Hard Copy Submission: After successfully submitting the online application, candidates must take a printout of the computer-generated application form. This hard copy, duly signed by the candidate, along with self-attested copies of all required certificates (mark sheets, educational qualifications, experience, caste/category, etc.), a recent passport-size self-signed photograph, and the fee receipt, must be sent by post.
5. Mailing Address for Hard Copy: The envelope must be super-scribed with “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF ______________ (Post Code: ______________)” and sent to:

6. Hard Copy Deadline: The hard copy of the application, along with all supporting documents, must reach the above address on or before 05.06.2026 (06:00 PM). Hand submission will not be accepted.
7. Incomplete Applications: Applications received after the closing date, without fee payment, or lacking required certificates/documents will be summarily rejected.
8. NOC for Serving Employees: Applicants currently employed in CSIR/Government organizations must submit a 'No Objection Certificate' (NOC) and Vigilance Clearance from their employer along with the hard copy application.

• Rs. 500/-: For Unreserved (UR), Other Backward Classes (OBC - Non-Creamy Layer), and Economically Weaker Section (EWS) candidates.
• NIL: For Women, Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Persons with Benchmark Disability (PwBD), and Ex-Servicemen candidates.

The application fee is non-refundable and must be paid online through 'State Bank Collect'. The transaction number/UTR generated after successful payment is required to be mentioned in the online application form, and the e-receipt should be uploaded and preserved.
