Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

Candidates must possess one of the following essential qualifications:
  • ME/M.Tech. in Chemical Engineering/Chemical Technology/Polymer Science & Technology/Bio Technology.
  • OR BE/B.Tech in Chemical Engineering/Chemical Technology/Polymer Science & Technology/Bio Technology with 2 years research experience.
  • OR M.Sc. in Chemistry/Environmental Science with 2 years research experience.

Age Limit Details

The upper age limit is 35 years. It is relaxable by up to 5 years for candidates belonging to SC/ST/Physically Handicapped and Female categories, and by 3 years for OBC (Non-Creamy layer) candidates.

Salary & Pay Scale

Stipend of Rs. 35,000/- per month plus HRA as admissible per month.

  • The last date for receipt of applications via email is 07.12.2025. Applications received after this date will not be entertained.
  • Candidates applying for more than one position/advertisement must submit separate applications.
  • Original marksheets/certificates/Age-Caste proof should be brought for verification at the time of the interview. Candidates should also carry self-attested copies of all documents and any project thesis.
  • Candidates must report at least ONE HOUR before the scheduled interview time. No candidate will be allowed to enter the Institute if arriving after the reporting time.
  • Candidates currently engaged in any project at CSIR-CGCRI or other Organizations/Labs/Institutes must furnish a No-Objection Certificate (NOC) from their existing Project Leader.
  • Candidates with results awaited are not eligible.
