Best-Fit Profile

This recruitment is ideal for individuals seeking stable, permanent government employment within a prestigious national research institution. It offers opportunities for postgraduates with strong Hindi/English language and translation skills (Junior Hindi Translator), experienced ex-servicemen looking for security roles (Security Assistant), and Matriculation pass candidates for entry-level support functions (Multi-Tasking Staff). Candidates valuing a reputable central government setup with potential for career progression within CSIR will find these roles suitable.

Important Considerations

Due to the highly limited number of vacancies (12 posts in total), candidates seeking large-scale recruitment drives should consider other opportunities. Applicants must strictly meet the specific educational, experience, and age criteria, particularly the unique ex-servicemen requirement for Security Assistant. Individuals with an aversion to potential transfers anywhere in India, as per CSIR's service liability clause, may find this unsuitable.

Career Impact

CSIR-CRRI, as a part of the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research, holds significant national prestige and institutional reputation under the Ministry of Science & Technology. These are permanent positions, offering job security and a comprehensive benefits package typical of central government employment. While the initial roles are administrative and support-focused, CSIR is known for providing avenues for career advancement and diverse experiences across its network of laboratories and institutes nationwide.
