Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- Essential Qualification: Candidates must possess an ITI, Diploma, or Graduation certificate in the relevant trade.
- Qualifications must be from Indian institutions recognized by NCVT/ SCVT/ AICTE/ UGC or equivalent.
- Only regular candidates who have freshly completed the essential qualification in 2024-25 are eligible to apply.
Age Limit Details
The minimum age for applicants is 18 years as of the date of application. There is no specified maximum age limit. Reservation and age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PwD categories will be applicable as per the provisions of the Apprentice Act 1961 and its amendments.
Salary & Pay Scale
The stipend for apprentices will be paid as per government norms, with reference to the OM DGT-36/1/2021-AP dated 15.09.2025, relating to the Apprenticeship (amendments) rule 2025.

- Visit the Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship (MSDE) portal at www.apprenticeshipindia.gov.in.
- First-time users must register by clicking on 'Create New account' in the Apprentice section.
- After registration, log in to your account and navigate to the 'Apprenticeship opportunities' section.
- Search for the establishment by typing 'Defence Institute of Bio-Energy Research (DIBER) Cell, DIPAS-DRDO' in the 'Establishment Name' field. The Establishment ID is E09200500022.
- Select the desired trade from the list and submit your application.
- Please note that offline or any other mode of application will not be accepted.
