Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- For JRF: Candidates must have a Post Graduate degree in Psychology or Applied Psychology with a first division. Specialization in Organisation Behaviour, Social Psychology, Personality Assessment, Clinical, or Health Psychology is required. A valid NET/GATE qualification is also essential.
- For RA: Candidates must hold a Ph.D. in Psychology.
Age Limit Details
The maximum age limit is as follows:
- JRF: 28 years
- RA: 35 years
Age Relaxation: Relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST candidates and 3 years for OBC candidates as per Government of India orders.
Salary & Pay Scale
- Junior Research Fellow (JRF): Rs. 37,000/- per month for the 1st and 2nd year. This increases to Rs. 42,000/- per month in the 3rd year if retained as JRF.
- Research Associate (RA): Rs. 67,000/- per month for the entire two-year tenure.
- Allowances: HRA is admissible as per government rules. A contingency grant of up to Rs. 15,000/- to Rs. 20,000/- per annum is also provided.

- A recent passport-size photograph must be affixed on the top right corner of the application form.
- The envelope containing the application must be superscribed with "Application for the post of ______".
- Candidates currently employed in Government/Public Sector Undertakings/Autonomous Bodies must apply through the proper channel.
- Photocopies of supporting documents for educational qualifications (XII, Graduation, PG Mark sheets, Ph.D. Degree), age proof (X Certificate/Marksheet), and GATE certificate must be enclosed.
