The pay scale for the post is Rs. 1,80,000 – 3,40,000 (IDA). Applicants from Central Public Sector Enterprises (CPSEs) should refer to various eligible IDA pay scales based on dates (e.g., Pre 01/01/1992, Post 01/01/1992, Post 01/01/1997, Post 01/01/2007, Post 01/01/2017). Central Government Group 'A' officers, Public Sector Bank/Financial Institution applicants, Armed Forces, and State Public Sector Enterprises/Private Sector applicants must hold specific equivalent levels of pay or positions. The minimum length of service required in the eligible scale is one year for internal candidates and two years for others, as on the date of vacancy.

Applicants must submit their applications online only through the PESB website: https://pesb.gov.in/. The application process varies based on the applicant's current employment status, requiring submission through proper channels:

• Central Government Group 'A' Officers (including Armed Forces & All India Services): Through their Cadre Controlling Authority.
• Officers from Public Sector Banks/Financial Institutions/Autonomous Bodies: Through their Administrative Ministry/Department of the Government of India.
• CMDs/MDs/Functional Directors in CPSE: Through the concerned Administrative Ministry.
• Below Board level in CPSE: Through the concerned CPSE.
• CMDs/MDs/Functional Directors in State PSE: Through the concerned Administrative Secretary and Cadre Controlling Authority.
• Below Board level in SPSE: Through the concerned SPSE.
• Private Sector Applicants: Directly to the PESB.

Private Sector applicants must also provide additional documents, including annual reports of their current company for the preceding three financial years (with URL or copies), documentary proof of company listing (with URL or copies), evidence of working at Board level or immediately below, self-attested copies of age and qualification documents, and details of past relevant jobs.

Candidates can either complete the online application and forward it online, or complete it online, print it, and send it offline as specified in Para V(1) of the notification.

The total timeline for application receipt in PESB is 30 days from the date of advertisement publication in leading National Dailies. The last date for submission of applications by applicants is 16.09.2024 by 03:00 PM. Nodal officers must ensure applications are forwarded to PESB by 25.09.2024 by 03:00 PM. Incomplete or late applications will be rejected.
