This role is most suitable for highly experienced medical or biomedical professionals holding an MD or PhD, with a strong background in public health and research. Ideal candidates will possess a minimum of 17 years of experience, including significant managerial experience (5+ years) in R&D projects and at least 3 years of regular service at Pay Level 14. Expertise in 'One Health' areas, microbiology, virology, immunology, infectious diseases, and a robust publication record with national/international networking capabilities are highly valued.

Candidates lacking the specified advanced medical or biomedical degrees (MD/PhD) and the mandatory 17 years of essential experience, including the defined managerial and service components, should not apply. Those exceeding 58 years of age as of the application deadline are also ineligible. This position is not suitable for fresh graduates or professionals with limited senior-level R&D and managerial experience.
