Driver

Candidates engaged for the Driver position will receive a fixed monthly honorarium of Rs. 15,000/- (Rupees Fifteen Thousand) only. The engagement is purely contractual, initially for a period of one year, and may be extended based on requirement and performance, subject to approval by the Assam State Legal Services Authority, Guwahati. The engagement can be terminated at any time without assigning reasons.

Candidates are required to submit their applications in the Standard Form as published in the Assam Gazette in Part IX. Applications must be submitted directly to the Office of the District Legal Services Authority, Kokrajhar. Applicants can also send their applications by post.

• Ensure the application form is complete and signed.
• Attach self-attested copies of relevant testimonials/certificates including identity proof, educational qualification, age proof, caste certificate (if applicable), employment exchange registration card, experience certificate, and a valid professional driving license.
• Include two recent passport-size photographs.
• Clearly mention the name of the post applied for (i.e., 'Driver') on the right-hand corner of the envelope containing the application.
• The last date for receipt of applications is June 8, 2026, by 5:00 PM. Applications received after this date, by any mode, will not be accepted.
