DSSSB TGT & Drawing Teacher Recruitment 2025: Apply for 5118 Vacancies

Candidates must meet the specific educational qualifications for the post they are applying for. The key requirements are:

• A Bachelor’s Degree (Honours/Pass) or equivalent from a recognized University with at least 50% marks in aggregate, as well as in the two concerned school subjects.
• For specific subjects like TGT (Natural Science), the subjects studied at the degree level must include Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Botany, or Zoology. For TGT (Social Science), it must include History, Political Science, Economics, Business Studies, Sociology, Geography, or Psychology.
• Note: The requirement of 50% marks can be relaxed for Post Graduates in the subject or for SC/ST and PwBD candidates.
• Must have passed the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) Paper-II, conducted by CBSE.

• Option 1: Five years’ Diploma in Drawing/Painting/Sculpture/Graphic Art from a recognized University/Institute.
• OR Option 2: Master’s Degree in Drawing and Painting/Fine Art from a recognized University.
• OR Option 3: Bachelor’s Degree in Drawing/Painting/Fine Art plus a 2-year full-time Diploma in Painting/Fine Art from a recognized University/Institute.

The age limit varies based on the post and gender, calculated as on the closing date of application (17/04/2025).

• TGT Posts (Male): Below 32 years.
• TGT Posts (Female): Up to 40 years.
• Drawing Teacher: Below 30 years.

Age relaxation is provided for various categories as per government norms:

• SC/ST: 05 years
• OBC: 03 years
• PwBD (UR/EWS): 10 years
• PwBD (SC/ST): 15 years
• PwBD (OBC): 13 years
• Departmental Candidates (Central Govt.): Up to 05 years for Group 'B' posts.
• Guest/Contract teachers in Delhi: One-time relaxation in the upper age limit up to the actual time spent as a guest teacher, subject to a maximum of 5 years, provided they have worked for at least 120 working days in a particular academic year.
