Candidates must meet the specific educational qualifications for the post they are applying for. The key requirements are:
For Graduate Teacher (TGT) Posts (All Subjects):- A Bachelor’s Degree (Honours/Pass) or equivalent from a recognized University with at least 50% marks in aggregate, as well as in the two concerned school subjects.
- For specific subjects like TGT (Natural Science), the subjects studied at the degree level must include Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Botany, or Zoology. For TGT (Social Science), it must include History, Political Science, Economics, Business Studies, Sociology, Geography, or Psychology.
- Note: The requirement of 50% marks can be relaxed for Post Graduates in the subject or for SC/ST and PwBD candidates.
- Must have passed the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) Paper-II, conducted by CBSE.
- Option 1: Five years’ Diploma in Drawing/Painting/Sculpture/Graphic Art from a recognized University/Institute.
- OR Option 2: Master’s Degree in Drawing and Painting/Fine Art from a recognized University.
- OR Option 3: Bachelor’s Degree in Drawing/Painting/Fine Art plus a 2-year full-time Diploma in Painting/Fine Art from a recognized University/Institute.
