Government ITI Kancheepuram Recruitment 2026 – Apply for 01 Office Assistant Post

Candidates must have passed 8th standard from a recognized school. Candidates must be able to read and write fluently in Tamil and must possess practical ability to ride a bicycle (cycling proficiency).

Age is calculated as on 01.07.2026. Minimum age is 18 years for all categories. Maximum age limit: Open Competition (OC): 32 years; BC / MBC / DNC: 34 years; SC / SCA / ST and Destitute Widows of all communities: 37 years. For candidates belonging to BC/MBC/SC/SCA/ST possessing qualifications higher than SSLC (10th standard), there is no upper age limit. Differently Abled candidates receive 10 years additional age relaxation. Ex-Servicemen: OC up to 48 years, reserved categories up to 53 years.

1. Visit the official Kancheepuram District website at kancheepuram.nic.in and navigate to Notices > Recruitment.
2. Download and print the official application form proforma.
3. Fill out the application form legibly in Tamil or English with all required personal, educational, and communication details.
4. Attach self-attested photocopies of all requisite certificates: 8th standard pass certificate or School Transfer Certificate (TC), Community Certificate, Nativity Certificate, Photo ID proof (Aadhaar / Voter ID), and Employment Exchange registration card (if registered).
5. Affix a recent passport-size photograph in the designated space on the application and sign across it.
6. Submit the completed application envelope either in person or send by Speed Post / Registered Post addressed to: The Principal, Government Industrial Training Institute, No. 26, Putheri Street, Behind Kailasanathar Temple, Kancheepuram – 631 502.
7. Ensure the application reaches the office on or before 30.09.2026 by 5:45 PM. Late submissions, unverified documents, or incomplete applications will be summarily rejected.
