Job Analysis

Best-Fit Profile

Experienced healthcare professionals and support staff seeking contractual employment within a government scheme (ECHS). Candidates with specific medical qualifications (MD/MS, MBBS, B.Pharmacy, B.Sc MLT, Diploma in Physiotherapy/Dental Hygiene) and relevant work experience (3-5 years) are ideal. Ex-servicemen are explicitly given preference, aligning with the scheme's objectives.

Important Considerations

Individuals seeking permanent government positions or those without the specified minimum work experience should not apply, as these are fixed-term contractual roles with mandatory prior experience. Freshers are generally not suitable. Candidates unwilling to undergo a 10-day unpaid On-the-Job Training (OJT) period or attend in-person interviews in BD Bari without TA/DA should also reconsider.

Career Impact

Working with the ECHS, a scheme under the Ministry of Defence, offers a degree of government association and contributes to the welfare of ex-servicemen. While the roles are contractual for one year, they provide valuable experience in a structured public health environment. The remuneration for specialized medical roles is competitive for contractual terms, indicating institutional recognition for expertise.
