This apprenticeship is ideal for fresh graduates (engineering and non-engineering) holding a B.E./B.Tech, Diploma, B.A., B.Sc., or BBA degree obtained within the last five years, who are looking to gain one year of valuable practical experience within a State Public Sector Undertaking (PSU). Candidates must be Indian citizens, at least 18 years old, and have no prior work experience. It suits those committed to a one-year training period without guaranteed post-apprenticeship employment.

Candidates with any prior work experience (one year or more) are strictly ineligible. Those seeking immediate permanent employment or high salaries should not apply, as this is a one-year apprenticeship with a fixed stipend and no obligation for DTL to offer employment post-training.
