This role is ideal for highly experienced professionals with a strong background in Electrical Engineering, particularly those with over 20 years of post-qualification executive experience within the power sector. Candidates should possess in-depth knowledge of power system operation, market operation, generation, and transmission of electricity. Preference will be given to individuals who have retired from Government, PSU, Autonomous, or Statutory Bodies and have experience coordinating with the Ministry of Power.

Individuals lacking extensive executive experience (minimum 20 years) in the power sector, those without an Electrical Engineering degree, or applicants exceeding the age of 63 as of the application deadline should not apply. This is a contractual position, so candidates seeking permanent government employment or lacking the required residual service before 65 years of age will find it unsuitable.
