Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

Candidates must possess an M.Ch. (Urology) or M.Ch. (Surgical Oncology) or an equivalent postgraduate degree recognized by the National Medical Commission. Additionally, mark sheets and passing certificates of final examinations are required.

Age Limit Details

The maximum age limit is 45 years. Age relaxation is applicable for reserved categories as per Government of India instructions:

SC/ST: 5 years
OBC: 3 years
PWD: 10 years (additional 5 years for SC/ST & 3 years for OBC)
Ex-servicemen: length of service in Armed forces plus 3 years (additional relaxation for SC/ST/OBC as per Govt. of India)

Maximum age relaxation of 5 years is also provided for TMC employees (temporary/contract basis).

How to Apply

Candidates should appear for a Walk-in Interview at the Homi Bhabha Cancer Hospital & Research Centre, Plot No. 1, Medicity, New Chandigarh, SAS Nagar, Punjab-140901. The reporting time for the interview is from 09:30 A.M. to 11:30 A.M. on 26.11.2025. Age and experience will be reckoned as on 26.11.2025. Candidates currently working under Central/State Government/Autonomous Body/Semi Government Organizations/Public Sector Undertakings must obtain prior permission from their Head of Organization and produce it at the time of interview.
