Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) is a Maharatna Central Public Sector Enterprise (CPSE) established in 1974. It is a major player in India's energy sector, boasting annual gross sales of Rs. 4,64,247 crore during 2024-25. HPCL owns and operates Refineries in Mumbai and Visakhapatnam, along with India's largest Lube Refinery in Mumbai. The corporation also holds significant equity stakes in other refineries in Punjab and Karnataka.
