Hydro Informatics Engineer, River Basin Modeler & Data Engineer

This role is ideal for highly specialized Postgraduates (M.Tech/M.E./M.Sc.) in Hydrology, Water Resources, Civil Engineering, Computer Science, or IT with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience. Candidates should possess strong analytical, modelling, and data management skills, particularly in hydrological, hydrodynamic, morphological, and sediment transport modelling, or database management systems (Oracle, SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL). A willingness to work on a contractual basis for an initial two-year period, with potential extension, and to travel within Assam is essential. Individuals passionate about contributing to flood risk management and water resources development in Assam, under a World Bank-aided project, will find this opportunity suitable.

Individuals seeking permanent government employment should not apply, as these positions are strictly contractual. Candidates lacking the specified postgraduate qualifications and at least two years of proven experience in relevant hydrological/data modelling or engineering fields will not be considered.
