- For Library Science Graduate Apprentice: A Master's Degree in Library Science or Bachelor of Library & Information Science (B.Lib) from a Statutory University recognized by the State or Central Government.
- For General Stream Graduate Apprentice: A Bachelor's Degree in Science (B.Sc), Commerce (B.Com), or Arts (B.A.) from a Statutory University recognized by the State or Central Government.
- For Graduate (AI Apprentice): A Degree in BE / B.Tech in Computer Science & Engineering, Information Technology, Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning, Data Science & Analytics, Human Computer Interaction & Gaming Technology, or related branches from a Statutory University recognized by the State or Central Government.
- For Technician Apprentice Trainees (Civil/Electrical): A Diploma in Engineering or Technology in a relevant discipline granted by a State Council or Board of Technical Education recognized by the State or Central Government. Candidates with BE/B.Tech can also apply, subject to BOAT guidelines.
