Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

Option 1: M.Tech/M.E. degree in RF & Microwave Engineering, Microwave Engineering, or a related field, along with a B.Tech/B.E. degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Candidates must have a minimum of 60% marks (or 6.5/10 CGPA) throughout their academic career, starting from Class XII.
Option 2 (OR): B.Tech/B.E. degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering with minimum 60% marks (or 6.5/ 10.0 CGPA) throughout starting from Class XII, along with a valid GATE score in the EC paper (Electronics and Communication) and expertise/experience in RF & Microwave Engineering, Microwave Engineering, or any other relevant areas.
Option 3 (OR): PhD candidates who have submitted their thesis may also apply.

Desired qualifications include:

Basic knowledge of Engineering Electromagnetics and RF & Microwave Engineering.
Basic knowledge of Coding/Programming.

Age Limit Details

The upper age limit is 28 years. Age relaxation of up to 5 years is applicable for SC/ST/OBC/women and physically handicapped candidates.

Salary & Pay Scale

The consolidated salary for the Junior Research Fellow (JRF) is INR 31,000 per month plus 16% HRA. This emolument is as per DST notification DST/PCPM/Z-06/2022 dated 26 June 2023, subject to release/approval of the funding agency. Candidates who do not possess a valid GATE score shall be paid Rs. 25,000 per month plus HRA as applicable.

Duly filled application form along with scanned copies of certificates, requested details, and other supporting documents must be uploaded.

The deadline for receiving the duly filled-in application is 02.12.2025.
Candidates must upload all documents pertaining to educational qualification (10th, 12th, graduation, post-graduation etc.) and any experience.
Shortlisted candidates will be notified by e-mail about the interview date and time. They must provide valid e-mail IDs and phone numbers in their applications.
Shortlisted candidates must bring an updated CV, original, and attested photocopies of mark sheets/certificates to the interview. The interview may be held using an online/offline platform.
