Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- Essential: PG degree in Physical Sciences (Physics, Applied Physics, Atmospheric Sciences, Meteorology) OR M.E./M. Tech in Atmospheric/Oceanic Sciences OR Master's degree in any branch of Engineering with at least 55% marks (50% for SC/ST/PwBD).
- Eligibility Requirement: Must have qualified CSIR-UGC NET (including Lectureship/PhD), GATE, JEST, or other national-level examinations conducted by central government agencies (DST, DAE, DOS, DRDO, etc.).
Age Limit Details
Relaxation in upper age limit is applicable as per government norms: SC/ST/PwBD/Women: 5 years, OBC (Non-creamy layer): 3 years.
Salary & Pay Scale
The selected candidate will receive a monthly fellowship of Rs. 37,000/- in addition to the admissible House Rent Allowance (HRA).
