Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
Candidates must possess a Master's degree (M.Sc./M.S./M.Tech) in relevant scientific or engineering fields as specified in the detailed post-wise table. Additionally, qualification in a National Level Examination (NET/GATE/LS - CSIR/UGC/ICAR) is mandatory.
Age Limit Details
Upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC, ST, PwBD, and women candidates, and 3 years for OBC (Non-creamy layer) candidates, as per government norms.
Salary & Pay Scale
Selected fellows will be provided with a Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) stipend of Rs. 37,000/- per month plus applicable HRA, as per DST guidelines. The fellowship will transition to Senior Research Fellowship (SRF) after two years, subject to performance evaluations.
